Chu Wanning opens his mouth to speak too but with Mo Ran’s thumb laid over his lips he silences himself, letting the rough finger pull his lower lip downwards and rest just inside his mouth. Mo Ran manages to whisper, “I thought about you, what you mean to me, everyday of your seclusion.”

    In which Mo Ran and Chu Wanning find themselves trapped in a cave. Both confronted with their pasts of dying without knowing their own hearts means when their last candle burns out into a blanket of darkness it grants them permission to act on their desires.
