Hands flutter around his neck. Kaminari feels like he’s on fire at every point of contact. Through the ice on his eyelids and the blur of pain, he makes out a face that leans in. He stares into deep, purple eyes for half a second, then the person is leaning away again. “You’re alive.” The voice repeats. Hands brush snow from him before they gently snake under his unmoving body. “Don’t be afraid,” It says, soft now, “You’ll be okay.”
