That’s all I’ll be one day. A stone and a name. Maybe some flowers if I’m lucky, Viktor thinks with a soft huff. He tucks his fingers into his gloves, burrowing into the warmth of his scarf. At least they’re pretty.
He gazes at the leaves floating serenely on the fountain and turns away from his reflection, away from the reminder of his wasted years and decaying body.
Pallid. Sick.
Ugly.
But still him.
A particularly sunny yellow tulip smiles at him from a gravestone closest to one of the exits.
I wonder what Jayce will pick for me?
He smiles at the thought.
