It's evening when Kirishima enters the apartment through the front door. Bakugou is sitting on the couch reading the latest hero news on his phone, and Kaminari is rummaging around somewhere in the kitchen.
"Honey, I'm back!" Kirishima announces as a joke, never one for much subtlety. He and Kaminari make eye contact, their laughter barely contained.
“Welcome home," Bakugou responds without missing a beat, gaze never leaving his phone. Behind him, Kaminari gapes at Kirishima.
Bakugou realizes his mistake a moment later when Kirishima turns on him with big eyes.
