Summary
I abandoned this series due to losing all the writing I had stored on my old computer. Recently I went through some of my old phones, and discovered that I had just a few snippets stashed away. I was always so upset at having lost everything, so I'm overjoyed to be able to share the little that I still have. This does not mean that the original story is coming back, but maybe I'll have it in me one day to rewrite at least the ending and post that here.

Summary
Excerpts from an abandoned fic where a pacifist (matchmaker route) Ayano gets into a relationship with Budo to prevent anyone from suspecting she has feelings for Taro, and also to have someone willing to defend her innocence in case of rumors of odd behavior. The first part was going to be the prologue, and the second part was 8 chapters in, where she orchestrates a scheme to cement Budo's loyalty and eliminate a rival in one fell swoop.
I started another version of this story years ago, and decided to scrap it and start over, due to new lore and gameplay changes making the original story pull from outdated mechanics. I still follow development of the game out of curiosity, but the desire to create fanworks is gone. I still like how I wrote this one, however, so I'm sharing it anyway.

Summary
The first four years of Malleus and Yuu's relationship is nothing short of blissful (musings about the length of her lifespan nonwithstanding). Once the prefect graduates from Night Raven, the two waste no time in progressing through the stages of their relationship as quickly as is proper. Though this romance started as a fairytale, it cannot stay that way forever. Dissent seems to greet them at every turn, and it quickly becomes clear to the couple that happily ever after is not attained without a fight. It's a good thing neither of them knows when to quit. It's an even better thing that they are not alone in their battle.

There was something incongruous about the Traveler, something the Wanderer couldn’t place. He’d noticed it for the first time back in the Delusion factory, when the Traveler wore a mask of righteousness.
Initially, he’d chalked it up to the Traveler coming from worlds away, the way he seemed to stand apart from the workings of the rest of Teyvat. He’d presumed it ran along the same vein that his Visionless abilities came from, a strange resonance unique to only him.
Now? He wasn’t so sure.Alternatively: There's something off with the Traveler. Scaramouche won't rest until he's solved him down to a well-known fact.
