Summary
War Veteran turned Auto Mechanic Bucky Barnes makes his way to what he assumes is an overpriced hipster cafe that his boss, Tony, can't stop raving about. At least until he lays eyes on the most beautiful man behind the counter yelling at a customer for harassing someone else in line. With lots of flirting, pining, sexual tension, and maybe a little help from his friends, Bucky might just get to take the barista out.

“So, MJ knows Steve?”
Tony whistled. “Wow. A whole three minutes, congratulations.”
“Shut up.” Bucky laughed.
“Yeah. They took the same art class at the Community Center or something.”
“That’s kind of how Alpomado’s became our…thing. Sam opened the place a couple of years ago and MJ knew one of the managers so she brought in some food and coffee and it was love at first bite.”
“Lame.”
Tony batted at Bucky’s arm, one hand on the wheel. “Says you. You’ve been pining after Steve for like a month and haven’t made a move. That’s lame.”

Post mission, Steve is struggling to switch from Nomad headspace to himself. At that point, it's Bucky's turn to take point on a new mission. He knows exactly what to do to bring his boy down. When he does, Steve is pliant and happy and calm. A job well done.

If anyone else had said those words, if Steve wasn’t feeling the hairpin tug gently at his hair, if Bucky hadn’t been so careful to let Steve call the shots this entire time, Steve would have socked them in the mouth. But it’s Bucky, sitting there looking so fond and tender, so Steve shuffled over and planted himself on Bucky’s knee.
Bucky ran a hand along Steve’s shoulder, and Steve relished the feeling of Bucky’s firm callouses caressing his small shoulders. “Daddy,” he breathed, leaning into the touch.
“I’m here, kiddo.” At Steve’s frown, Bucky winced apologetically. “That’s a no on ‘kiddo’, then. Baby-doll? Stevie?” Steve nodded.

Summary
Sometimes solving a murder requires asking the victim what happened. That's where medium Steve Rogers comes in, helping SHIELD agent Natasha Romanoff solve crimes and helping himself pay the bills.
They've tangled with HYDRA in the past, but their latest scheme is creepier than usual: mutilated victims, necromancy, and one very dead, very badass Winter Soldier, bound by chains to do their bidding.
Steve doesn't like seeing people in chains. He's going to rescue this poor soul no matter what it takes. And maybe smooch the heck out of him. (Okay definitely smooch the heck out of him.) With a little help from his mother's star pendant, his sort-of-friend asshole oneiromancer Stephen Strange, and SHIELD's finest... archer? okay, archer, sure—what could go wrong?
