Yujin turns towards her, raising an eyebrow. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

Summary
Mina’s heart had a tendency to explode when she felt too much. And the explosions usually resulted in about twenty minutes of her being technically dead.
It was mostly manageable though. About a five on the pain scale. A ten on the inconvenience scale. And occasionally fatal on the mortality scale, but only for that twenty minutes. Because of these scales, falling in love would be a terrible idea in practice. Too many variables unaccounted for. Too many emotions out of her control. She'd likely die every week if she had to do an estimate. And dying over another person was pretty annoying to deal with, so she avoided it as best she could.
Unfortunately for her... Nayeon existed.

The stars focus back on Chaeyoung, now both in silence as the director gets up again. “I want fire. Conflict. You two have more tension than any actors I’ve ever worked with. You hate each other? Great. Use it. Velma and Roxie hate each other.”
She steps between them like she’s conducting lightning.
“But they also need each other. And that? That’s your story.”
Nayeon starts to pace again, shaking her head. “This is going to be career suicide.”
“No, this is the best press you’ll ever get. Broadway will eat this up with a spoon.”
