“You shouldn’t speak that way.”
Levi tilts his head and raises a brow at the statement.
“It’s in bad faith.” I continued.
“Are you a man of faith, Erwin?” He keeps his voice low, careful not to wake the others.
I drop both hands to the ceramic wash basin beneath me, gazing at my faint reflection in the rippling water.
“When it serves me.”
“Does it?”
“I’m not sure yet.”

Summary
They lay in Levi’s bed, tangled together with Isabel and Furlan on either side of them. Levi nestled into Erwin’s neck. Everything about Erwin was warm and solid. Cuddled up like this, legs intertwined and Erwin’s arms around him, was like having his own little cocoon. Erwin’s steady breath and warm skin against his—the faint purring of the cats: this was everything. Just like the last Christmas they spent together.
A small chill trickled down Levi’s spine. What if Erwin wanted to add a label like last time, too?
“Erwin,” Levi said, his face still buried in Erwin’s neck.
“Hmm?” Erwin’s sleepy voice rumbled above him.
“What is this—us—to you?” Levi clutched Erwin’s sides, bracing for impact.
Erwin ran his hand over Levi’s hair, resting his cheek on Levi’s head. “I don’t know. I guess…”
Levi tensed.
“I guess I just want to see where this goes.”
OROf all the schools and all the history teachers, Erwin Smith had to come to Levi’s as the new history teacher. Perfect.

Summary
As Lovof browsed through the documents, his eyes fell on the small photo that must have fallen between them.
It was, without a doubt, a photo of Ackerman.
Lovof hissed as he examined the man's face. Although he looked young in the photo, it wasn’t easy to tell.
He had sharp features, a straight nose, and thin lips. His left eye was a striking shade of gray that perfectly contrasted with his straight black hair.
He could have been considered attractive without the web of angry-looking scars on the right side of his face.
They seemed to start from his temple and extend diagonally towards his eye, which must have been damaged by whatever caused the scarring, since it was cloudy and slightly more closed than the other; they then went down his cheek, landing on the right side of his lips.
It was not a look fitting for an Omega.
“He's….” Lovof weighed his words, trying to find a diplomatic way to express his thoughts: “...unfortunate looking.”
Rutger barked a laugh that startled the young man sitting close to him.
