Summary
Hero would be lying if he said he never believed in the idea that soulmates could ever exist.
He believed in it once, over four years ago when he saw a side of the perfect girl nobody else saw under the moonlight together, giving him a glimpse of what true love could mean yet after one day all he could do was run from the past, wanting to hide from everyone for three whole years until he finally left for college just to hide from the past another year.
All these years he believed he wanted… no… needed to follow his mind instead of following his heart like he did that day, believing that the past can’t call him anymore.
As all things eventually do, Hero’s past finally catches up to him as someone called the Matchmaker messages him, offering him a chance at finding his soulmate.
Yet again his mind tells him the past can’t call him yet his heart begs to differ.
There’s only one thing both his mind and heart can agree on, it sounds too good to be true.

Everyone is waiting to see that perfect girl that everyone believed she was to play, everything had to be about how she would play, and the things she did had to be perfect just as much as she was perfect.
And so you tried to be the image everyone wants you to be, you stayed up these long nights, locking yourself in the room you might as well consider your second bedroom, playing the same piece over and over again for the girl she wanted to believe was perfect…
That day you’ve played for so long you’ve never bothered to check the time as the song you try to play devolves into a mess, with every key pressed with emotion, mashing every key harder and harder, hoping the perfect song could scream into your ears yet no perfect song reached you, just mess up after mess up, something that perfectly represented the girl messed up inside.

Omori, but it was all a dream
But only to sunny?
In 3 days left, Sunny doesn't fully wake up, for the flesh is willing, but the soul wants 10 more minutes.
As Kel pounds on the door for the 576th time, it opens to a Sunny with a dreamy look in his eyes, as if he was not on this plane.
Fuck it, the guy just came out and he ain't doubting what went wrong
As the days progress, Faraway morphs from it's fantasy-dream look and into its homey-urban style it always has been as reality hits sunny's head with multiple hammerblows.
After all, this dream was different
Why is it so realistic?
Why does it smell like being there?
Feel so real?
And why does the blood on his hands...
Feel so warm?
As the dream they sought to protect falls, the truth will rise.

Summary
A pristine white gown covers them from head to toe, smooth and unblemished. Their perfectly groomed, straight black hair ends just past their shoulders, symmetrical on both sides, as her bangs part in the middle of her forehead just above her mask.
The rounded theater mask matches the white of their dress, the curved edges of the mask melding into their pale skin as if it were part of their very being. The caricature of a happy smile is carved into the mask, but there’s no sign of anything beyond the veil of the mask's sockets. Mari... she… she recognizes them now.
“Good, you’re paying attention.” They… Kanpeki, hums. The other woman clicks the pen in hand as she jots something down on the paper next to her. “We can begin then, and I think a good starting point as any is why you’re here.”
Kanpeki 完璧 (noun): perfect; complete, flawless. Or in other words... another Omari AU, but things are a little different.
Because naturally, Mari's a little different than Sunny.
