Summary
“I think,” Cas grits out, “that the spell requires me to say the truth. I’ve been trying to suppress it with my grace, but it’s… not working.”
“Got it,” Dean says, nodding, because he can work with this. “Yeah. Sure. So give me some truths. Some stupid little ones.”
Cas narrows his eyes. “Such as?”
“Like, I dunno, what’s your favorite color?”
Cas’s face somehow goes stonier. “Green,” he ekes out.
Dean clears his throat. Blinks a few times. “Oh.”

I love this world! Dean and Cas and the 'truth spell' that Sam botched! Dean picking on Sam is one of the best exchanges between the two of them! Hilarious!

Summary
"Cas is alive," Sam sounds as bewildered now as the first time he said it, however long ago. One minute, ten minutes, an hour. Dean wouldn't know. Time seems to be folding past him in unpredictable bursts. He's not convinced this isn't a dream, actually. No way it can be real.
Right? No way Cas would do that to them. To him.
Not after what he said. Not ever.
Right?

While I love happy endings so very much, I am totally loving the hard work that both of them (all of them, really) put in to get there. Also, everyone loving Dean is incredible!

Summary
Dean is something a late bloomer, so it makes sense that he doesn’t start university until he’s already in his late twenties. He’d planned for a business degree, something that will give him a mooring in an unstable life, but an unexplainable encounter during a class trip leads him down a different path.
Fifteen years later, history professor Dean Winchester and his best friend Charlie are both fresh off a divorce and heading back to Rome to try to recreate the magic of that long-ago summer. Older, heavier, but probably no wiser, Dean goes back to the strange statue that he’s been obsessing over to tell it how it changed his life. He’s not sure what he expected, but it certainly wasn’t for the statue to reciprocate. Or to ask Dean to show him the pleasures of the city he’s stood sentinel over for centuries.

Bookmarker's Notes
The whole premise of sacred objects is fascinating! I also really love to see Dean in an academic setting, especially one where he just geeks out about it! I find it very romantic that Cas came alive for Dean and I love the idea of them living happily ever after!
