Summary
Atsushi, a college drop-out and lead singer of a band, is feeling stuck, worried the future of his band is going nowhere.
That is until Dazai, a famous musician, takes an interest in the band and makes them an offer which could change their careers forever. But this is made difficult by Atsushi’s new friendship with Akutagawa, a part-time concert photographer who claims Dazai isn’t all that he seems.
Opportunities arise and secrets are revealed, but Atsushi and Akutagawa continue to be pulled together, joint by their shared struggle - to escape the past haunting them and create something to make their lives worthwhile.

Summary
In which Akutagawa and Atsushi are high school seniors, and Akutagawa is chronically ill. What happens when you fall in love with someone who is out of time?
*rivals/one-sided hate to friends to lovers would be more accurate than “enemies to lovers”
*I’m basing this AU off of the American school system because it’s easier to write about what I know. Here’s your basic info:
Atsushi is still an orphan like in the canon, but in this AU he was able to go to school while living in the orphanage. How? Don’t know. It’s irrelevant to the plot. He lives on his own by the time the story starts.
Akutagawa is 20, but he is also a high school senior. Due to his lung disease, he spent a lot of time in the hospital and was held back two years for missing so much school. Nobody besides his sister and closest friend know the real reason for why he missed so much school. He and his sister live alone.
Dazai is a teacher in this AU. He plays an important role in this story.
Tanizaki is Atsushi's best friends, and Kyouka is like a little sister to him.
Chuuya is Akutagawa’s best friend. He is one of the two people who know about Akutagawa’s condition. He already graduated and is working at a flower shop.Series

"That was really brave—what you did for your sister." Atsushi makes a new attempt at breaking the awkward silence between them.
"You don't have to play nice. I will kill you the moment I get the chance to in the arena," Akutagawa retorts coldly.
Atsushi lets out a dry laugh, trying to ease the tension in the air. "I can guarantee you, I won't hold back either. Still, it doesn't hurt to be friendly while we still can. No need to be so prickly." He raises his arms in a defensive gesture.

Akutagawa knows that his chances of winning the 74th Hunger Games as a scrawny, malnourished Tribute from District 12 are slim to none. Still—he will do everything in his power to win the Games and return to his younger sister Gin for whom he volunteered. What he doesn’t expect is to get caught up in a staged romance with his fellow Tribute, Atsushi Nakajima. It's a performance meant to win over sponsors, but soon the lines between what's act and what's real begin to blur.
