    A clearing opened up between the trees. Eijirou crouched down, hiding behind a mighty oak, searching for the singer.

    “Da da daa...”

    In the clearing was an open natural spring. The water glittered in the setting sun, reflecting the pinks and golds back. Reflections of fireflies danced across the surface of the water. Algae and lily pads floated across the spring. Eijirou peeked around his tree to look more.

    Across the pond sat his siren.

    The most enchanting man Eijirou had ever seen was lounging in the water. The top half of him stuck out, leaning against a rock. His blond hair was wet and clung to his face. His pale skin seemed to glow in the low light. He reached a hand out of the water and pushed the hair from his face.
