Chat Noir finds her on a rooftop across from the Eiffel Tower. Remembers the words he once spoke to her in the sewers below, when she likely felt much the same as she does now.
“You and me against the world, Milady.”
Chat Noir remembers how strained their partnership has been in recent months. How distant Ladybug has been, how frustrated he’s become. How much he’s lashed out. And seeing her curled in on herself, so lost and hopeless, Chat Noir decides right then and there.
He’s going to make up for his mistakes. Be the partner in crime-fighting he should have been. Give her the support she needs, through whatever else life has planned for them.
So he talks to her. They rally together, and swear to fix their mistakes.
However long it takes.
