He respected the ocean and the creatures that lived in it, knew how to properly handle any potentially dangerous equipment, and never to take more then he needed. He was compassionate and sweet, and cared deeply for those around him that were deserving of his compassion, and it were these traits of his that would gain him a trustful, albeit strange, life-long companion.

Pip is in the middle of his schooling in London; however, it’s starting to get to him that he has been stressing out a lot more than usual. He knew the schooling he was in was intense, yet he can’t help suddenly feeling exhausted all the time and a bit apathetic towards his work (which just seems to keep piling up). His circumstances make him feel guilty at feeling apathetic, as someone wanted him to get an education and have a bright future. So, for now he’ll just keep at it, but would it be so much to ask for just a moment to breathe?

The Elven Kingdom is at war with the Kingdom of Kupa Keep, and an act of betrayal has lit the flame for another battle between the two kingdoms. Phillip, the Elven kingdom's greatest archer, has his cover blown as a spy and is held in capture for ransom for seven days by the Grand Wizard. Beldroth, the Elven Kingdom's fire mage, is furious, but his king commands him not to go, as he is the kingdom's most powerful warrior, and is worried that the Keep could overpower him 100 to 1. So in the castle Beldroth waits, praying that his best friend will be returned to him. For if the Wizard's demands are not met, the night of the seventh day will be Phillip's last.
