Summary
The end of Hisui does not come quickly, for the Wardens of Hisui the end it’s a slow and agonizing process, one they are unable to stop despite their best efforts. And as the passage of time defeats them and makes the world of Hisui fade away, eventually, the region and its people are doomed to be remembered just in history books.
But the Almighty was not satisfied by that ending.
When Arceus sent a champion to the past, made them experience all they could about Hisui and then returned them to the present, he had been convinced it would be enough to start the resurrection of the ancient region, but he had been wrong, and if he didn’t wish for his whole plan to fail then he would need to take some drastic measures.
Many years after the last of the Wardens died, all of them suddenly wake up again in modern Sinnoh, a land very different to the one they once knew, and with challenges they never imagined facing, but luckily they are not alone in this, and perhaps now they will finally be able to save the spirit of Hisui.

“You should go home,” he said. Emmet saw her face struggle to not look upset. “You have had a long trip and I have worried you too much. I will be fine, go home, rest” he really tried to sound fine. He squeezed her shoulder reassuringly but his tiredness crept through. He felt like the room was spinning around him. He just wanted to lay down and go back to sleep back into the dreamless haze he had been in for the last week apparently.
This fic will mostly focus on Emmet and how he moves on after Ingo's disappearance and presumed death. There will be a reunion but not for a while. I want to play with the idea of Emmet moving on and then Ingo re-entering his life.
