Phainon opens his mouth to protest. Mydei cuts him off.

His cursed blood craves destruction, he's lost all memory of his past, and in case that wasn't enough, he's been infected with a parasite that will turn him into a black tide monster. Phainon just wants a simple life where he can watch the sunrise with his friends. Instead, he has to save the world—and somehow save himself along the way.
