Summary
I made a Droid x OC book because I felt like it.
Each installment will be a new chapter. I wanted to be able to put different tags on each chapter. You should read all chapters for a better understanding of the storyline.
If anyone knows Droids boundaries regarding fanfics, lemme know cause I honestly have no idea -_-
This book is now complete. However, it's labelled slice of life for a reason. If there are any scenarios or bits you'd like to see, past present or future, ask and I will probably deliver. This can be an already written scene from someone else's perspective, or something new with any of the characters. Thanks for reading!

Doc would never have considered himself a relatively profound friend of Ren’s. They were friends, for certain, but in the same way Doc would consider himself a friend of Joe’s or a friend of Scar’s. They interact. They spend time together. They sometimes collaborate on builds.
And, on occasion, Doc supposes that friendship extends to pulling the man from lava and attempting to salvage what bits of him have been destroyed and mangled from a near disastrous end of a season.
But, really, he should know the man better. He should have some sense of who Ren is, of what he needs, what he does, yet the man sat before him… He’s not certain it’s Ren at all.
And Doc doesn’t know enough to explain why…

Summary
Long before the crew of The Flying Jellie had gone missing, lies a tale of its newest member and how he came to join the illustrious group. From a home of wealth, Grian leaves it all behind with a desire for adventure and distances himself from the land he once knew.
A kindly, but odd Captain Scar is quick to take in the avian on his first day into town and induct him into his crew. Little does Grian know that this captain is not as innocent as he may come across, and the relationship that fosters amidst trials of crime and violence might just be exactly what Grian was looking for, whether he realizes it or not.
But not all captains go down with their ship.
