Summary
Maggie had not thought much about the Harry Potter franchise in over five years. She saw no reason to dwell on it when she had much more important issues, like getting into law school and taking care of her little brother. The contents of a children's series from a decade ago written by an author who would've been better served staying off the internet would hardly serve her outside of a game of Jeopardy.
A magical couple in another universe felt differently. They have no problem with flipping her life inside out to prove her wrong.

“You can stick to walls and you’re calling me weird?”Grace Marley's life was changed forever when an alien called Loki invaded New York with an army of aliens, taking her mother from her.
After the battle that left their lives in shambles, her father moved them from Manhattan to Queens, soon finding out that his heart was damaged and would never recover, leaving her to resort to dangerous measures to try and get him a heart. Her desperation led her to breaking into a secure government facility where residual energy from a certain cube was being tested.
After accidentally causing the building to explode with her inside, she discovers she has impossible abilities, leading to her becoming a superhero the world would not soon forget.
So what happens when a boy that's lived in the background of her life for years suddenly makes her stomach flip, and looking into his eyes makes her remember things that never happened?
