Phil had told him that when he was just a fledgling. But here he was. Falling off the edge of a bridge towards angry dark waters which threatened to eat him alive.

It had been a good day.
The bacon army's advances had been limited these past few months — the General had quipped at one point that the war was in its' death throes. Careful planning in military tents with diagrams and officers that Guest had only seen on paper must've taken place in order to come to that conclusion. He has his fair share of doubts on the consensus, though, considering how many bullets had been raining down on the Robloxian encampment as of late, fired from turrets and stray artillery soldiers' guns. The bacon army wasn't advancing, no, but they weren't retreating either. The two sides had seemed to be left at a peculiar standstill, each hanging on the edge of a precipice the other was unprepared to cross, at risk of sacrificing too many pawns in a game of numbers.
