The Galactic Republic of Solana celebrates the second millennium of its founding. There are festivities, and some of them get a little out of hand, because it's not every year you get to experience a millennium anniversary. There is unrest, and the Republic Navy expands its numbers to deal with it, but the unrest is no worse than Solana usually experiences. Or so it's believed.
Events have already been set in motion that the Republic will not be able to stop; there is a whole second class of citizens growing tired of the chains holding them down, and an individual calling himself Nefarious is perfectly positioned to take advantage of it...
