Now, flopped against the wall are two teenagers dressed as sailors, and his interest is only worsened when one of the sailors looks up with a groan and it’s Steve fucking Harrington.

Her lips had barely brushed against his when he gently pushed back on her shoulders. So shocking that she immediately leaned away from him.
“No?” The rejection blindsided her. But there was no look of disgust on Jamie’s face that she would usually attribute to rejection. His hand was on hers, and he was looking at her earnestly.
“I love you, Keeley,” he said. “A part of me always will. But we can’t do this.”
“Why not?” She knew it was coming, of course. But the masochistic part of her had to hear it.
“Roy.”
It would always be Roy. Season 3 post breakup. All things come full circle. Sometimes, it just takes awhile.

Eddie was just staring at him like he's never seen Steve before. "I never wanted to hurt anyone," Steve breathed out, but it came out more snappish than he meant it to.OR~~~
Steve has to deal with the fallout of Season 2. New nightmares, losing Nancy, kids who he's willing to die for, and Billy's new hatred towards him. He went from the top to the bottom in the school and he didn't know how bad it was until Eddie Munson is the one that steps in to help him.
