Wukong is lonely and wants friend so he disguised him self as a human and erases his memories (spell breaks when a threat that only he can defeat shows up). His new human form is named Xiyang with no last name. Xiyang is really weak (so people will less likely connect him to wukong and do he doesn’t cause trouble) and the cover story for the amnesia is a brain disease/cancer. Wukong fakes some documents to make the terminal illness seem legit (the documents were actually pretty distressing. Tear stains, what looks like manic ramblingswriten on the paper about his diagnosis). Xiyang finds MK a wk later who also has amnesia. Declared to be twins and lived as street rats for like 6 months. Xiyang is super weak and light (mk carries him on his back while jumping roofs. He also has chronic pain, headaches, always cold, heart problems, etc). Xiyang is a ginger, has a tail, pale and supposed to die is about 10 yrs. Mk acts like a protective older brother. Macaque raises bai he and isn’t overtaken by revenge. Macaque and wukong are twins (he thinks wukong committed suicide when he sees Xiyang). Bai he is a celestial stone monkey too. Xiyang kidnapped by spider queen, gets shocked, coughing up / choking on blood. The spell breaks and Xiyang turns back to wukong. Wukong makes a clone of xiyang’s dead body to give everyone xiyang knew closure. Ch 23

Summary
Should a Demon or Person of High Status find that they have too many suitors to handle individually, they may hold a Courting Tournament. They could format the tournament however they wished, but there were 3 laws enforced by heaven themselves and insisted upon by The Golden Cicada;
Murder was Forbidden.
Should Said Demon be holding a Courting Tournament, Courtnapping is to be considered inappropriate and automatically disqualifies the offending Suitor.
And Lastly, The Demon may impart a Champion to play in the Tournament in their stead, should they actually choose none of the suitors, however, Said Champion must actually win in order to ensure the Demon's martial freedom for the span of 350 years, and after said amount of time, The Demon would legally be considered eligible again, and may hold another tournament or participate in other Courting Traditions.
Wukong hated holding Courting Tournaments. And now he had Mk, how can he possibly keep his successor safe while they're surrounded by Monsters?!
Macaque, his beloved mate, was long dead... Wukong misses him.

Holy peak. This is so well written. Some scenes are legit like a movie. The character portrayals are great too (wukong and macaque aren’t wimps). Macaque kidnaps MK at a peach orchard to train him into a weapon to defeat wukong. He originally planned to kidnap wukong but switch last minute. He somehow got his hands a fillet and used it to keep MK in check. Brought MK to a cabin in the mountains owned by a human and she basically put mk in solitary for like months. Macaque made mk kill her and bring her head back. Macaque drowns him at one point for trying to escape. Bro was calling him master, the switched to calling him father after coming to the underground. (Still continues to call macaque father and actually loves him now. He didn’t in the beginning, but Stockholm syndrome). Macaque also genuinely loves mk and thinks that mk is his and wukong an actually son (jacked up memory from his curse of not being able to stay dead. Writes things in journals to not forget). He loves wukong and wants to be a family (working, him, mk, dog). Macaque got whipped to death and that was when he started thinking mk was actually his. Working got mk back for a bit by pretending to love macaque back, kissing him, then stabbing him in the back. Mk has tracking marks (connects him and macaque). Red and mk got kidnapped by Rot (rat) and used as bait for macaque. Now Rot is just repeatedly killing macaque and he’s loosing his memories because his body isn’t given time to remember before he’s killed again and again. Red and mk stuck on death maze as entertainment for rats. Ch 45

Wukong beating the shit out of red son and almost murdering because the bull king has mk and he previously already beat red son up. But red kinda betrays his parents to find wukong to tell him how to rescue mk. Reds parents are very angry at him betraying them so are now trying to kill him. Wukong literally breaks his spine and etc

Summary
Saparata did what had to be done. He struck Fluixon down in the colosseum and ended the encapsulating war that begun with the two of them. Finally reached peace among the islands.
Only for Saparata to wake up somewhere completely new, with the events of the past nothing but a distant memory, and a shiver down his spine that suggested things would be very different this time around.

This is such a good original story. The world building is good and it’s a combo of purge, hunger games, state 2.7. Imperial has 3 districts and 3 groups of does from each district is sent to compete in the purge (snow, jungle, desert). Jungle is hosting this yr and only one duo can win. Saps from 2.5 wakes up in the snow district in 2.7 after the war with infernous and killing to og fluixon. The people in 2.7 don’t know who saps is and he’s paired with flux. In the interviews they pretend they are best friends and flux insinuate thats they’re dating. They have a rough start getting along with each other but start to trust each other more during the purge. Desert is known for good fighters, jungle for traps, snow for survivalist. Saps told flux about were he came from and the old versions of the people he knew
Events: flood as first event, attacked by jaguar, forest fire, drought, saps & flux steal from jungle group, sera longed a knife coated in snake venom in flux’s leg, saps kills seraphim, flux tweaking out from the venom, saps follows compass and gets smoke flares, saps eye gets cooked by rotation (he might likely be blind in his right eye from the injury),
