    It was never enough. As Tim lay there, bleeding out, he would have cursed the heavens above him, if he had enough energy. As it was, he simply stared blankly up at the smog-filled night sky. Sure, he had saved Damian, but at what cost? Would the Demon Brat actually mourn him this time? Or just scoff and say that Drake deserved it for being stupid enough to throw himself between Damian and Two-Face’s bullets?
    Not that it mattered anymore. It was just another failure of repeating lives and failing to get it right this time.

    Tim laughed too. Along with his adopted siblings next to him. His lips parted in a wide smile and his eyes scrunched up as a soft chuckle left his throat.

    But inside, Tim was seething.
