It was Momo's voice, hypnotic and bursting with personality - her smile, her sparkling rosewood pink eyes. And it was the silence, too, when he was speaking. The way she watched him with rapt attention, like there could be nothing else worth noticing in the entire universe.
Okarun's warmth washed over her in gentle waves. Whenever they just talked like this, dropped all the teasing and silly antics, time stretched in the most pleasant way; his sweet voice was the loveliest panacea, soothing her manic energy into a trusting stupor as she hung on every thoughtfully chosen word.

Whimpering, fuck, he was actually whimpering–like it was killing him to drink so slowly of her, but he held himself in check all the same. Each word was like an oath, a curse and a gift in turn.
Hers? Could he really belong to her? He obviously believed it.
“I love you. Momo, I've missed you so much,” he gasped, finally leaning in and twining his hands over her chubby waist. With heated lips at her neck, he pleaded with a woman that didn't exist anymore, “Can I kiss you? Please? Please, I wanna taste you–”
