Summary
Originally, this was a work about Isolde and justifying her appearance in an upcoming work in this series: Dancing in the Moonlight. Not anymore. The plan is I'm going to rewrite the work to be better overall and include much more than Isolde's revenge, and by doing that it'll be more in-line with Dancing in the Moonlight. Before then, all the chapters will be removed, and please do not click on this work. I do not want any more changes in statistics as I plan to delete this fic as a whole once the reworked one is finished, and anything more would leave a false impression on anyone new. I'm going to take a short break for my mental, revisit how I write, and make something worth reading.
TL;DR: I'm rewriting this whole thing. I going to make it better than it ever would've been. As it was going, it would've wasted your time at around 50k words with a meh ending. I'm not having you waste time reading that when there are far better works out there made in this great community. I'm only leaving this up so you know why this has happened and so you aren't left in the dark. When I'm finished, I'll delete this work and upload the new one. Will take a while, but that's the price for quality I should've paid to begin with.

Summary
After finishing a commission in the Outer Ring with Wise, Belle finds herself walking back from the van only to see the Sons of Calydon's upper ranks lounging about atop Blazewood's cliff face. More specifically, she sees a girl - a town local - give Lighter a love-letter before running off, and overheard the gang questioning as to why he never accepted a date or opted for relationships.
Once she got Lighter alone, Belle finds out the real reason he never took people up on the dates: Lighter, due to those he was raised and lived around, didn't know how such a relationship would work, especially in regards to dating. So, admittedly for self-indulgent reasons, the long-time crushing Belle decides to take Lighter out on 'pretend-dates' for 'research purposes'. Lighter, of course, agrees!
But, as Belle later finds, such a reason may not have been the entire story.

This work is tagged as 'Semi-Independent', meaning you don't have to read the rest of this series to get what's happening in here. There will be some references to the previous work and foreshadowing, but aside from that you shouldn't be confused about the actual storyline (so long as you make sure to keep an eye on the timeline).Series

Summary
Ellen gave Belle a small trinket the size of a pendent that was actually given to her by her school friends, and with the information given that it was used to hypnotise people, Belle sought to try it on the one person it would be obvious to: Wise!

Summary
This is the epilogue work for 'That's Life', a Wise/Zhu Yuan fic posted back November of 2024.
It is three parts: Wise meeting Zhu Yuan's parents; their first New Year's together; and the complete climax to their story (No spoilers here). There isn't much to add aside from 'be sure to read That's Life first if you are planning on reading this', but I suppose that much should be obvious.

Summary
Jane Doe, a consultant working for the New Eridu Public Security (N.E.P.S), recently infiltrated a group of interest, 'Genesis', designated as a high-threat organisation. They were, from reports given to Jane prior to her infiltration, a highly militant gang that operated with similar means and motive as the dismantled 'Mountain Lion Gang'. But in truth, after a successful yet uneventful infiltration, Jane quickly learnt that the organisation was no such small-time group.
A terrorist attack, hostages, two bombs, and an MIA Jane Doe assumed to have been unable to escape her role prior to the attack or be able to contact Public Security to warn them, all on Christmas morning: it resulted in Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, Seth, and others responding late to the scene that resulted in nearly an entire train on its way towards Lumina Square's Metro Station be massacred, and it is now up to them to keep the already extensive damage to a minimum.

Summary
A terrorist attack is the beginning of an unravelling mystery that makes itself known only to a few, but to those that are aware know that the series of violent attacks, small and large, could prove to become something far more heinous than they already appear.
These seemingly unrelated incidents slowly grow threads between them, with its victims piecing together the puzzle left in the larger conspiracy's wake. Association means assassination, and Captain Zhu Yuan finds out late that such attacks are meant for furthering a far more detrimental plot. All the while, as Criminal Investigations (with the help of Phaethon) tries to uncover the culprits and their identities, said culprits continue in their unknown efforts towards an equally unknown goal, and one that is fatal to discover.
