Summary
After a drunken brawl leaves a man dead, Steve Rogers is arrested and, on the advice of his lawyer, pleads guilty to manslaughter in hopes of a lesser sentence. Unfortunately, because of Steve's background and experience, he's given a sentence of five to ten years in a maximum-security prison.
Trapped in an endless sea of guilt and fear, Steve does whatever he can to survive this nightmare and not lose himself to the horrors and violence of prison life, especially the vicious abuse at the hands of cruel and sadistic prison guards.
The last thing Steve expects is to find a true connection with anyone, let alone fall in love. But there's something intriguing about his surly, miserable, mad-at-the-world bunkmate, Barnes, and whatever it is, it might be the key to both of them getting through this terrifying ordeal together.

Of course, this delay puts more and more knots in his stomach. The interview isn’t until one o’clock, and he’s given himself plenty of time to get there by taking the seven-fifteen train, but now “technical difficulties” might make him miss the opportunity of a lifetime.
Only ten other people occupy the business class car he's in. Another reason Jason decided on such an early time. Also why he paid a little extra for the upgrade. Less people. More room for his too-large-for-comfort-in-most-seats girth. Two men are currently going over a business deal. A woman is conked out, her head resting against the window. Three other people are decked out in classic tourist stuff and keep taking pictures as they travel to San Diego. There’s a woman on her laptop. Someone out of sight keeps humming along to their music and the person seated two rows ahead of Jason is watching Romeo and Jules, a modern-day retelling of Romeo and Juliet which caused unnecessary controversy when it came out--no pun intended.
This choice of film is more or less probably intentional since the tenth person in the car with Jason happens to be one of the stars of it.

Summary
Seventeen-year-old Bucky Barnes has it all. He’s the captain of the basketball team, has a great social life, his choice of ivy league schools, and was just announced as his class’s valedictorian. Senior year is going perfectly. Until he gets assigned to be a peer mediator to Steve Rogers – one of their class’s biggest trouble makers who doesn’t know how to keep his mouth shut and goes around picking fights with everyone.
The last thing Bucky needs is to get mixed up with Steve and his pretty blue eyes and soft blonde hair and heart-melting smile. Even if it turns out he’s not quite what Bucky’s thought all this time. Even if maybe someone just needs to listen to Steve’s side of the story. Even if Steve’s heart is so much bigger than Bucky could have ever imagined. Because Steve Rogers is so not worth becoming friends with. Again. Bucky learned that lesson years ago.
Unfortunately, there are some things that Bucky just can’t control. Steve Rogers – and the way Bucky feels about him – is one of them.

“How the hell did you find me?” The question was out as soon as Barnes sat down again. Sam swore he could see the man lifting up his eyebrows for a second there. But Barnes didn’t answer his question.
Out of everyone, of course it had to be James Buchanan Barnes, the ex-winter soldier, who helped him and brought him to this nowhere place. Stuck in the cabin together, Sam noticed the man was trying to open up.
And the snow kept falling, falling, and falling.

Summary
It’s 1923 and silent films are all the rage. With it comes tales of glamour, decadence, and rivalries that fuel the ever growing popularity of cinema. The actors who take on these roles are immortalized on the silver screen, and referred to as gods. Among this pantheon are two rivals, leading men who have stolen the hearts of thousands of women. The first is Steve Rogers, typecast as a man of action and rugged good looks. The other is Bucky Barnes, typecast as a charming and beautiful ladies man. It’s known throughout Tinsel Town that the two loathe each other, so much so they’ve nearly come to blows in the past.
When both are cast in an ambitious film project launched by Stark Studios, they’ll have to learn to get along. It’s the “brilliant” idea of the director that they should share quarters during filming, thinking it will drum up more publicity. Steve isn’t thrilled by the idea, and neither is Bucky. A series of misunderstandings and harsh words create more tension that could jeopardize Steve’s dream and Bucky’s wellbeing.
Sparks indeed will fly, but will they kill each other or come together?
