Previously thought extinct, as were majority of the mythological creatures of his time, Simon embarks on an expedition full of revelations, healing and newfound kinship.
A slowburn Selkie OC x Simon fic, with a quest that replaces the events of Fionna and Cake.

It was the responsible thing to do, Clavell had thought.
Once he had heard of Arven and his friends’ exploits to defeat Titan Pokemon, harvest Herba Mystica, and deliver the Scarlet and Violet books to the professors in Area Zero, he had grounded them all in their respective dormitories. In hindsight, Clavell regretted his haste to have a word with Sada and Turo about endangering his students.
Faced with facsimiles of people he once cared about (and still do), two aggressive Cyclizar variants not of this time, and a wound to his torso, Clavell has had a very, very, long day.
