He backs away from the console when the screens flicker out - the wiring probably melted somewhere. He glances at the door, beyond which the situation is likely more of the same and then worse. At least there’s no fire here.
At least he’ll only suffocate instead of burning alive.
Another cough makes him double over and he pulls the front of his shirt over his nose though he knows, he knows he’s only delaying the inevitable.
But despite what he told himself just seconds ago, Billy Nash doesn’t want to die.
