What's so special about the crane, you ask? Well, I'll tell you. It's shot dead in front of him. Imagine that. A perfect verse in rhyme and rhythm, all for the death of a crane."
"What..." he continues, slowing himself down to an unsettling degree, "...Is so special, about a bird?"

The problem with Edward Nygma was that he was so fucking pretty. Goddammed gorgeous. High cheekbones and flame-red hair, sparkling emerald eyes. Broad shoulders and trim waist, elegant and competent.
