Ms. Noceda didn't believe him. She was going to hurt Willow and Gus. Hunter gasped for air, only now realizing he hadn't been breathing.
"No, no no no Ma'am it was me," Hunter said, voice ragged.
"Willow and Gu-" she started again.
Hunter dropped to his knees.
"Please, please don't hurt them Ma'am. I can take it, I'll be quiet. I swear it won't happen again, I-"

Summary
They sped upwards. The plan still in place, find Hunter, stop the spell.
However as they reached their destination and saw Hunter, head in the lap of a girl, with gold vains spreading across his body, the emperor above him, looking very, VERY ‘hurt’ the collector added one more item to the list:
Break Philip. FOREVER.
(To be less dramatic, Hunter meets the Collector at a young age, and the bond. The leads to a… different ending to kings tide. Yet somehow just the same.)

Basically alternate universe Belos (good parent au) stumbles upon the traumatized Hunter we know and love and kidnaps him (with only good intentions)

Summary
Belos, emperor of the boiling isles, leader of a coven, and crappy excuse for an uncle, was dead.
REALLY dead, this time.
Everyone was tired, and wondering what they would do now. But no one more then Hunter. Who - naturally - thought that everyone would want him to take care of himself. He was wrong. There reverse was true. Every single adult to meet him seemed to want to take care of him. He had -unateraly- burst into tears when they asked him to pick a parent. Because, of course, in his own words 'I didn't think ANYONE would want me!'
(Aka we figure out how Hunter ended up in split custody because HE LIVED WITH EVERYONE-)

Summary
"I’ll go back one day," Vee always told herself. One day, she’d return to the Boiling Isles. One day, she’d feel safe enough, brave enough, to return. Even if it was just for a day.
It was a goal to aim for, something to keep in mind. She wanted to visit her friends, instead of them always having to come to the Human Realm to see her. She wanted to see The Owl House. She wanted to take up Luz’s offer of a tour around Hexside.
She’d told herself, for months now, that she’d return when she was ready.
Vee had always imagined returning to the Boiling Isles under fairly mundane circumstances. One day, she’d wake up and decide "today’s the day." She’d walk through the portal with a smile on her face, ready to surprise her friends, arm in arm with her siblings.
She hadn’t expected Luz to burst into the house, gasping for breath, tears in her eyes as she screamed for Camila.

The kids have found the Golden Guard graveyard. The Noceda family tries to pick up the pieces in the aftermath.
Or: Vee faces her demons. Luz ponders vengeance. Hunter spirals and Camila tries to keep her kids safe. All the while, the ghosts of Belos and the Golden Guards hang over their heads.

Summary
The door shut closed with a bang and the five kids were thrown to the ground. Luz scrambled up and ran towards it desperately. She opened and closed it a couple times but it did nothing. She stared blankly into the small house where the portal used to be. The connection was severed. She turned back to her friends on the ground, speechless. They were stuck in the Human Realm.

Basically a story about the shenanigans the group gets into in their time in the Human Realm, and still ending with the Thanks To Them plot line. Like what would have happened in a full season 3, but with some extra stuff I want to add. Like small headcanons, ect. -

Shortly before Caleb Wittebane is stabbed by his brother, he and Evelyn are pulled into a portal, finding themselves in the Boiling Isles, centuries later, where they meet their future. And while, Evelyn and her descendants get along well, Caleb is told that his only family was responsible for the suffering of most of the magical realm. Though, no one seems to have any resentment towards him a certain boy seems uncomfortable with him, always keeping his face concealed from him for some reason.

PAUSED (no more new chapters for now while I decide if I want to continue it or not)
Now that the Boiling Isles is saved and everything is relatively peaceful, it’s the perfect time for Hunter to recover and rebuild his life, far away from Belos’ abuse and the constant stress of trying to save the entire realm.
And now he has a family!
Actually, make that two.
Darius and Camila don’t have a lot in common, except for the fact that they both want to protect Hunter and give him a loving home at all costs. So, they’ve come to an arrangement.
—————Hunter is happier than ever now, traveling between the realms, getting to visit his siblings a ton, and having two welcoming homes. He’s even started going to school and practicing Flyer Derby in between helping fix all the damage in the Boiling Isles.
And Hunter just might uncover some mysteries about his identity as a Wittebane and a Clawthorne along the way.
—————————-This is about having a good family, blood or not, and learning to let them help you recovery, while also rebuilding the world around you too. True family and friends love you for who you are, not who you were made to be.

Hunter gets sick and tries to hide it like the dumbass he is. Featuring Hunter in Pain™, Camila Noceda being the Best Mom Ever, and at least a mention of everybody else. Also, Belos/Phillip sucks so bad. Eff that dude.
Also, canonically speaking, Flapjack should appear in this fic but I was too sad so I didn't do that.
EDIT: There are more chapters now. They all feature Hunter in Pain™, Camila Noceda being the Best Mom Ever, and Everyone Else (currently trying to work Vee in there, right now she only gets a few passing mentions). Also Flapjack is in the other chapters after the first one.
