Once he arrives, he tries desperately not to screw up the mission while Bruce Wayne flirts with him, a nepo baby gives him crackers, and everyone around him seems to be laughing at some joke he hasn’t gotten yet.

    The entire bat-family is messing with Barry Allen, and frankly he deserves to get a drink after that whole ordeal. Featuring Brucie Wayne threatening to sue Lex Luther for being racist towards Dick and Dami as a distraction. Maybe the funniest fic I've ever read.

    “I can vouch for him,” Cyborg said, sitting up straighter. “We’ve worked together before. I can’t promise he’d want the job though. He works out of Bludhaven, last I checked.”

    Dinah perked up from where she was slumped against the table next to Oliver. “That’s next to Gotham. Batman, what do you know?”

    All eyes immediately turned to where Batman sat with his arms crossed, looking impassive as always. There was a long moment of silence and the corners of Batman’s mouth turned ever so slightly downward. Finally, in a flat tone of voice that gave no more away than his face ever did, he said, “He’s… well trained. Fast. Could be useful.”

    ...

    Also known as, the League eventually figured out that Nightwing is Batman's son, but it takes a while.

    Thee perfect "justice league finds out about robin" except it happens 16 years down the line and Robin is nightwing and batman has 7 children that the league somehow didn't know existed. Funny, silly, with just a sprinkle of angst, and Dick being a menace as usual

    As Batman signed for him to add his backup smoke pellets to his belt after forgetting to in a recent patrol, Dick was suddenly hit with the memory of the man scolding him for it. He remembered how Bruce had walked towards him, brushing the dirt off of Dick's face and pinched his cheeks. He recalled sticking his own tongue out at the man and the low — but free, so free — chuckle Bruce let out in response. And Dick reminisced on how warm he felt in its wake.

    Large age gaps between friends existed.

    It made perfect sense.

    Except...it didn't.

    Or, how Dick transitioned from seeing Bruce as his mentor to seeing him as his dad.

    Contradictory introspection by Dick as he refuses to see the fact that is right in front of him: Bruce is his dad. Featuring good dad batman, albeit emotionally constipated as is the norm
