Summary
Chilchuck’s eye twitches.
The baby wriggles, mewling.
Chilchuck’s jaw locks.
Izutsumi’s fur bristles, her little whining voice high and thin.
“Aww, she’s getting fussy,” Marcille says. “Here, let me see her.”
Senshi nods. He holds Izutsumi out to Marcille, holding her under her arms, and Chilchuck damn near goes rabid. He can’t just stand here and watch this happen!
“No, no, NO!” he bursts out, rushing forward with a fatherly adrenaline he hasn’t felt in awhile. “Give me her. I said, give her here!” His hands reach out for the infant Izutsumi, carefully taking her into his grasp. “You were dangling her in mid-air! Do you know how much pressure you were putting on her weak joints? And you weren’t supporting her head at all! You’ve got her wrong! Are you all MENTAL?!”
Izutsumi gets turned into a baby.
Chilchuck goes into Dad Mode.

Summary
The human-faced snake fuck came out of nowhere. One moment, they were peacefully strolling through a grand stone room that looked like it belonged in a castle, the next, they were all scrambling out of the way of a very large serpent, which had gracefully slithered out from a crack in the wall.
It was surprisingly fast for such a big thing, scales as verdant green as tree leaves in summer and long fangs like knives.
Those fangs managed to find purchase in Izutsumi’s arm.
Izutsumi gets bitten and poisoned by a Naga.
Cue Momcille and Dadchuck!

Summary
Even so many years after she escaped that cage, Izutsumi still finds herself back there way more often then she would've liked, because her mind insists on making those memories into nightmares to haunt her nights. The only thing that helps is having someone that makes her feel safe by her side, which she thought would be a lot harder now that she's adventuring with a party of people she barely knows, but she ends up finding comfort with Chilchuck, who not only cares a lot more than he lets on, but has more in common with Izutsumi than she thought.
