First Ben saw a black and green heel, then a leg clothed in purple leather. His eyes followed the form, and as she came out gasps were heard all around. Jane gripped her tablet tighter, looking at the information on it, then back at the VKs. But that didn't change what they saw.
In the last VK's arms, tied to her with a long purple cloth, was a baby.

Summary
It started when they were interns - when Meredith Grey was the first person to see Alex as a fellow doctor and a friend. When Alex noticed that Meredith was having a bad day, it didn’t take long to figure out that something bad had happened the night before with O’Malley.
Alex should have minded his business, but he couldn’t, not when it was Meredith.
With Alex’s intervention, the lives and hearts of the characters were changed, triggering a different Grey’s Anatomy story than the show we all loved.
