Summary
Kremy Lecroux has never said “I love you” to a romantic partner and meant it.
Gideon Coal has never meant to say “I love you” to a romantic partner, but he’s said it more times than he can count.
The pair of them think they'll never need to say it genuinely. The pair of them are wrong.

Summary
Robotnik stared at the Agent, mind racing, hypotheses opening out in a dozen different tabs of the browser in his mind, each trying to home in on why he had been sent this agent.
Ah. It had finally happened.
The government was trying to kill him. For realsies this time.

After failing his latest psych evaluation, Agent Stone finds himself pulled from almost a decade in the international field and placed on domestic babysitting duty for an eccentric scientist who makes it very clear that Stone could either walk away right now or else quit in a bodybag. Well, Stone has never been a quitter and what begins as a war of attrition over some HR forms slowly morphs into a functional(?) working relationship and the beginnings of a deeply unprofessional crush on his boss. That is, right up until the government comes up with a plan B to get rid of them both.
