Summary
Lup was a lot of things. She was a kickass chef and a pretty decent wizard. She used to run an excellent cooking show with her twin brother, and due to recent circumstances said show was currently on a short hiatus as they were caught up running from Death itself. So she had a lot on her plate, way too much to even think about having a relationship.
She didn't have time to think about the wedding ring hanging on a silver chain around her neck.
Barry Bluejeans wasn't a lot of things. He wasn't outgoing, spending most days either in his small apartment or working at Neverwinter University. He wasn't that good with people or kids, but that unfortunately wasn't stopping him from trying his best to manage the boy detective that wouldn't take no for an answer. Most importantly though, he also wasn't married.
The wedding ring wrapped neatly around his finger begged to differ though, and he wasn't going to stop until he figured out what it all meant.

Summary
Stede finds the house. When he comes back to their room at the inn, he won’t rest—won’t let Ed rest—until Ed’s seen it. His eyes are bright in that way that makes Ed’s guts feel scooped out with a spoon. So Ed hurries into his boots and goes with him.
The once-white paint is stripped by weather and wear, a portion of the roof is caved in, and the spokes of the wraparound porch are all gnawed through by animals.
Ed gazes up at the broken windows and the birds that have built nests there. At his side, Stede is waiting, rocking back and forth on his heels.
"It’s perfect," says Ed.

Summary
Edward Teach removes himself from everyday life to escape an old history that he's sure is still following him. He's been living in the mountains by a small town for years, living on his self-established homestead to stay as off the grid as he can. He seems to be the epitome of rugged manliness; something a soft-handed, well-off man admires greatly. He's got the life Stede Bonnet could only imagine in his distant day dreams.
So when the well-off man wants to help out and learn the ropes of how to live such a rugged life, what can Ed do but try and help him keep an axe blade out of his leg?
