Summary
After the war, Bumblebee had grown tired of expectations costantly forced on him, of duties that never ended, of being told who he was supposed to be.
At first, he hunted Decepticons with his team on Earth. But then the council stepped in, insisting he attend the Academy to "refine his skills", because apparently — he wasn't good enough in his job for them.
A year later, framed for a murder he didn’t commit, Bumblebee fled. Branded a fugitive, he vanished into the underground and became something else: an assassin, striking from the shadows to target the Council that betrayed him.
Eventually he got captured, the Council deemed him too dangerous for prison and sentenced him to the shadowzone.
But something went wrong.
Instead of exile, he woke up on the Nemesis—Megatron’s warship. Mid-war in the past.
Though it's just a nightmare, right?

An Energon signal?
It could be dangerous, this was suppose to be a calming, peaceful family bonding time, its Saturday! Its right in front of them, Bumblebee looks around and finds nothing, warning the Maltos as they began to search around them as well, no rustle within the foliage or greens, and perks towards the sky, that plane again? It couldn't be Starscream, or the other seekers, their alt modes aren't that huge, and not planes, and now it starts to descend at a very concerning speed, Bumblebee temporarily freezes.
Wait—that is no plane, but rather... a fighter jet
A jet thats not supposed to be diving down!
"MALTOS MOVE!"

Blitzwing isn't dead, or rebuilt or whatever happened, something Bumblebee now knows is that the Seeker still thinks the war is ongoing, and with more aggression than ever before, running away from him isn't easy, especially when he's got a whole family to look after now.
(Basically me reviving BB18 Blitzwing to bully a silly yellow scout)

“This is your fault,” Megatron told Bumblebee, with no room for uncertainty left in his voice. “Of that, I am certain we both know.”
“Shut up,” Bumblebee returned, but only because his addled processor couldn’t come up with anything more clever to say. “I know that.”
The look Megatron sent him was exasperated, and a touch annoyed. He was clearly struggling to keep all preconceptions of a threat off his face. Instead, it was replaced by something in a similar vein to worry.
It was so ridiculous looking on the former warmonger that Bumblebee could’ve laughed. But regardless of how hard he tried, the sound refused to rise through his engine or tumble out of his vocoder.
So he didn’t.

Anita is happy to drag him to each stall in the market, speaking in her native tongue so confidently and swiftly that he only catches key phrases. She walks away with something she calls tanghulu and her face brightens when he tries a bite and makes a delighted noise.
It reminds him of—
(“It’s called tanghulu, Allen! Here, try some!” Lenalee says, thrusting a skewer of caramelized sugar and fruit in his face. This was days before everything fell apart.)
—nothing.
His Innocence isn't the only thing destroyed when Tyki attacks him in China. His memories are in shreds too. Just when he thinks everything he's lost will be gone forever, he catches a glimpse of someone Auntie Anita calls an Exorcist.
