It became a routine. After that first housewarming party at Robert's, going over after a long shift Friday to celebrate the weeks hard work and throw back a few beers became apart of the Z teams schedule like it was on their payroll. But it wasn't. Something about this mangled band of misfit toys seems to grow on each other shift by shift making their Friday nights less of a chore and more of something to actually look forward to.

Summary
Things have been good— besides some lingering regret over not killing Shroud and the careful consolidating of corporatizing Mecha Man with dispatch work, Robert’s been alright. Hell, he even bought a bed recently.
Things spiral pretty quickly when he’s a victim of some sort of bizarro mugging and gets turned into a cat. Surprisingly, it doesn’t even rank in the top ten worst experiences of his life.

Eddie draws a line with the tip of his index finger: following Steve’s happy trail, lifting his t-shirt and exposing his abs, the soft swell of fat over muscle, the dotted moles, dark body hair. He’s beautiful. “You should look at the pool while I touch you.” He nods at the sunroom off the kitchen. “I can push you up against the glass and make you look.”
