Summary

Hypnotised by the promises and touch of lust. If they do manage to crawl out, you’d see someone completely different. Battered from the treacheries, dumbfounded by the lies. Yet the comfort of another’s affection is so irresistible, one would rather drown than surface.
Rebellions, arranged marriages, political conspiracy, self-hatred, and hats. A chain of coincidental events led to the unlikely bond between a snarky puppet and an eloquent poet. Except, who is truely naive enough to believe that it can triumph in the face of adversity? Is Kazuha just prolonging the inevitable by taking this job, and how far is Scaramouche willing to go to quell his fury? Will it be too late before they realise the freedom they seek lies in each other?
TLDR; Kazuha's clan never fell, Scaramouche (Kunikuzushi) is Prince of Inazuma and they're not meant to fall in love. The dramatic political rebellions and vengeance and canon-typical shenanigans do not help.
