Summary
A butterfly flaps it’s wings. An angel begins a hunt. And a future hero disappears.
Hizashi knew he shouldn’t have stepped in the alleyway to get to class. But he really didn’t expect to end up trapped in the past with no clear way home to be the result. Luckily, Hizashi has the Doctor to help him become the hero the universe needs him to be.
All Shouta wants is Hizashi back. The universe can’t have him.

Something shifts, down in the darkness, something huge and monstrous, a mass of tentacles. It stops, catching sight of him—Hizashi can barely see down here, his eyes made for bright reef sunlight, but anything that lives down here has excellent low-light vision if they’re not completely blind—and turns all at once in a flurry of inky black tentacles, heading straight for Hizashi.

Summary
The day after returning from Tartarus, Shota had hoped to shut himself indoors and avoid the world for as long as it would let him. However, it would appear that Nemuri had other plans for him as he receives receives call early in the morning asking if he had seen Yamada since their return. Unaware of his friend's whereabouts and whether or not he is alright, Shota begrudgingly makes his way over to his apartment to check on him. From the numerous empty bottles left all over the apartment to the actual state of the voice hero once he finds him, Shota gets way more than he bargained for and begins to think that Hizashi may not be as okay as he lets on.

Summary
The altar room was silent except for his quiet sobs. He was hunched over hugging himself. He’d only moved from the hassock to curl in on himself easier. His forehead is pressed against the stone floor as if in reverently humble prayer. His arms hugged his stomach to avoid falling completely apart. Shota knew he needed to move, but he couldn’t find the strength yet to get up. He’d spent so long begging every saint he could think of just to save his lover’s life. He didn’t expect any true or tangible response to his efforts, but he had still offered penance and sacrifice. Both hands burned where the metal of the rosary had torn his skin and still bled slowly. Nearly every bead on the rosary was now marred with with his sacrifice to the saints.

After a raid gone wrong, Hizashi is in surgery for severe injuries and Shota is left to beg for a miracle.
