Summary
When Duncan had chosen to head for Denerim rather than Highever, the Couslands were slain on the orders of a once trusted friend. None survived the Sack of Castle Cousland or so Howe believed. The youngest son of Bryce Cousland survived along with a handful of others and fled south to Ostagar to inform the King and seek justice.
