Summary
Kukla didn’t remember ever being alone in the base before. It was aware that there were many things that it did not remember. Remembering was not an important part of its functions, so the people who had made kukla sometimes did something to it that removed its memories. So maybe it had been on its own before and it didn’t know that.
It waited in its tube for a long time, where it was often placed out of the way even when it wasn’t in cold storage. When it seemed like no one was coming back and it got lonely, it placed itself in soldat’s tube instead for a while. But if there were no people here anymore, then soldat was probably not going to come back here. Soldat went where his handlers went, and his handlers had all left kukla alone here.
This one is mostly about D/s and trauma, with complex power dynamics.

It's a shame this story isn't wasn't continued, because it is Brilliant and utterly fascinating.
Never mind, it was continued with chapter 9! However, it's depressing and disturbing. The soldat is shown in a flashback as peeing on the doll, who we discover was only 14 at the time, shortly after she was kidnapped.
No sex so far, thankfully. This is not erotica.

Summary
Eleanor's distant uncle from her mother’s side of the family comes to visit. He becomes enamored with her while she instead grows wary. During his stay, he slowly gets her to open up to him. Eventually, his presence no longer intimidates her and instead fills a void she hadn't realized had grew within her.
One late night, after waking from a nightmare, she finds him alone drinking in the parlor room. The tension from their budding relationship finally snaps and as he coaxes her into his embrace with gentle words and soft touches, he finally shows her what real pleasure feels like.
