Never read a story quite like this one, amnesia!Hermione living wild in the forbidden forest since the end of the battle, presumed dead by Britain. Snape finds her and we have a lovely steady slow burn all from Snapes POV including Viktor Krum and healer!Draco. I loved the pacing, the humor, and the characters. Definitely on my reread list.

I can and will read happy endings for Snape until people stop writing them. His canon character arc is too tragic, I love the slow burn here, the time they take to fall in love. I appreciate that Hermione is in a position where she doesn’t agree with his choices, but knows he has to go through them and will come out a better man, and her trust and love is what carries him through. Lovely story.

This is the first “someone didn’t know they had kids” story I’ve read for this pairing and I’ve missed this teope. Sad Snape missed out on so very much of their lives, but it was the sweetest, fluffiest story I’ve read in a very long time… once you get past the whole dub-con, virgin sacrifice for Voldemort Snape saves her from.
