Pidge is tired, she has been on the run from the Galra for just under two years. Maybe it's the loss of almost all her friends, or the loss of her family but she is starting to think that there is no point in fighting anymore.

"As his friends wander over to solidify their places at Reki's side, Langa finds his feet carrying him elsewhere, out through the factory doors and into the open air where it's a little easier to breathe again. The tail of his board drags carelessly through the dirt as he goes, and he begins to aimlessly lead himself as far away from the noise of the crowd as possible.
His body still burns hot with adrenaline, the tips of his fingers twitching like live-wires, yet his mind is blank and devoid of any familiar joy or excitement that he might've once felt in the past whenever Reki rode alongside him.
He should be happy that Reki beat him – beyond happy, even – but he's not.
He's not happy at all."

“May I ask why you were wading through the family pond?” Shouto says, and his voice grows cold, just as an equally cold breeze rolls through the air. “Certainly not for a dip, hm? I can’t imagine it is terribly warm.”
“Oh, no, Sir Todoroki,” Izuku shakes his head, and he glances aside to the pond he has recently fled; his sketchbook papers catch on a lazy breeze, blown across the surface like bleeding lily pads.
Shouto’s gaze only hardens.“Sir Todoroki is my father,” he says stoically, and Izuku fights to ensure his cringe doesn’t display on his face – not too evidently, at the very least. “Even in his absence, that title is reserved for him alone.”
In which Shouto is the son of a wealthy nobleman, and Izuku is the stableboy who shovels his horse's messes. And perhaps has a hidden talent, as well - one which Shouto finds particularly fascinating.

Summary
Izuku never wished to be a Fianna, but he had no choice; he was touched by the moon, a child gifted by the Gods his mother had said. He was not allowed to love only fight for his kingdom and die alone. His heart ached as he gazed at Shouto as he stood in the sunlight; his white and red blazing hair dancing in the wind. He had never looked so beautiful before and he could never tell him how much he longed for him, for he was bound, cursed and touched by the moon.
His only wish was to protect Shouto and his kingdom for as long as he could. Perhaps then, he could free Shouto of his bond to him, that way at least one of them would be free from this curse.

Summary
In the early summer, the youngest prince of the dynasty is grabbed by a wild dragon while camping in the mountains of his kingdom and is presumed dead before the first search party could be put together. It is a loss felt keenly and harshly across the realm. The king will spend the rest of his days mourning the loss of his favored son, and the fact nothing could be done to spare him his fate.
In a completely unrelated happenstance the village of Musutafu in the Draconic Isles adopts a child around this time. His name is Shouto, and they think whoever had him before wasn't really looking after him all that well. But it's okay. They'll make sure to fix that mistake.
A story about families, growing up, and dragons. Lots and lots of dragons.
