His eyes are hazel, he's always tired, his shirts are worn out, his hair is sandy; its always been that way. But now he's shaving, and there's muscle underneath the shirt, there's a sturdy presence in the shape of his shoulders. Peter wonders if Wade can see that change in him too, if Peter's nostalgia is a shared experience."
Peter Parker and Wade Wilson have been next door neighbors and friends for years. But things change as they get older, and a chance trip to a science lab changes Peter's life forever.

Summary
Wade Wilson is the uptight, over-stressed head editor of the popular social media company, Marvelous Captions, who wants nothing more than to be his slightly dick-ish and humorous self, but it's hard to be when he's gearing up for a new promotion, trying to lead his company towards success, and being told he's going to be deported back to Canada. And if there's one thing Wade can't do, it's go back.
Peter Parker is Wade's fresh-from-college assistant and is one of the company's photographers. With his boyish charm and oblivious qualities, he might just be able to convince everyone he's going out with his boss.
But that also means visiting Peter's family across the states to convince them Wade's not just a harsh boss who only laughs at dick jokes and that he's definitely not getting deported to Canada anytime soon.

Jesse bit back a sharp laugh, but Genji could still see the sharpness in his eyes.
"We gotta get outa here."
Genji didn't even have to ask why - he, a weapon in the hands of the corrupted government? And Jesse? A former gang member?
They would never really live.
"When?" He managed past his parched lips.
"When Ang' pulls ya off the wires - should be next week. I''l look at the schematics, see where your tracker is. I'll disable it then we'll go to a Blackwatch hideout. Somewhere know one will think to look."
Jesse smiled down at him, reaching up a hand to brush Genji's short hair out of his face. "Then we'll rebuild whatever life we had - and hunt down who ever killed them."
Genji was no stranger to revenge, and agreed with a nod of his head, eyes drooping slightly.
"Sleep tight pumpkin- I'll see you in a week."
Or: The road trip that would happen if Genji and Jesse left together after the Watchpoint exploded, and the consequential silliness and soul searching that comes with it.
