“I liked it,” Tadashi admits softly, squeezing his eyes shut. “I like skating with you.”
It’s the only way he knows how to describe what the last few weeks have been like – the only way to describe what they’ve just done in the rain – and even all these years, chasing this feeling with Ainosuke is as easy as breathing.
It’s also marginal, the way that Ainosuke’s next inhale stutters, but Tadashi hears it anyway, the sound as loud as his heartbeat in his ears.

Tadashi slips his hand into his inside suit pocket and pulls out Ainosuke’s cigarette case. He flips it open, retrieves a cigarette, snaps it shut, and packs the cigarette against the side (a product of habit), very aware of Ainosuke’s eyes on him.
Then he holds the cigarette up, level with Ainosuke’s lips, lingering in the air a few inches away.

Absolutely stunning. The ache and longing between them is simply breathtaking and you can feel both Tadashi’s devotion and his desire for his master with an almost painful clarity. Ainosuke is beautiful in his soft appreciation for his dog's assistance and even if it is never stated, you can feel how Tadashi’s feelings are returned.

This is absolutely stunning. Not quite murder!puppy, yet, but he's working on it. Once the snake is done playing with his prey. Service Top Tadashi with just enough of his own sadism that he is thoroughly enjoying himself. Ainosuke is still very much Ainosuke, trying to stay in control while asking his lover to take it away from him. Watching Tadashi strip it from him and seeing his thoughts while he watches Ainosuke submit to it and find peace and catharsis through it is just beautifully done. I don't even like rope play all that much, but I am a little bit in love with this piece.

So Tadashi consistently finds himself in something of a rock and a hard place, or maybe a stand-off where everyone around him could pull the trigger but hesitates only on the knowledge that Tadashi is very, very good at his job— or, in the case of Ainosuke, because Tadashi was his first and only love, and he still seems so sure that someday they'll run off into the sunset causing mayhem together.

Summary
Tadashi does not have such a personal investment in aesthetics as Ainosuke, but he does have a weakness for sentiment. The last time he cried was when Ainosuke presented him this tie as an anniversary gift; when he ran his fingers along it and found the secret embellishment of intertwined hearts embroidered on the back tag.
“It will stain,” Tadashi fills the dead air with his wavering voice. He still hasn’t met Ainosuke’s eyes, but he can feel them, watching as he tenses uncomfortably in the silence.

Normally cold and collected, a bloodstain on Tadashi's tie leaves him rather distraught. (Or, Tadashi can have little a feelings, as a treat.)

For such an unassuming look, Tadashi’s suit does everything to catch Ainosuke’s attention. Tie never too loose, shirt always pressed and properly buttoned up. Cuffs just the right length to flash a practical, subtle watch on his wrist. No vest, as to not draw any attention away from his more boldly-dressed boss—an optimist would see this as just one less layer standing between Tadashi’s skin and Ainosuke’s hands.

Summary
Sometimes Tadashi gets blindsided by how much Ainosuke needs him. He gets so wrapped up in his own desires and faults that he momentarily forgets Ainosuke is a man on the edges of desperation himself. Searching for control and direction, lashing out when he comes across anything close to it. It doesn't justify what he's done to people in that quest but it gives context to it and Tadashi has never cared about the justifications.
