Summary
Eddie takes a slow sip of his coffee, nudging the second cup in Buck’s direction. “So…”
Buck grins, picking up the mug. “So.”
“I went to make breakfast this morning,” Eddie says casually, slowly, “thought about making eggs.”
Buck nods, not really following Eddie’s tone of voice. “Eggs sound good.”
“Went to the fridge to get the eggs…” Eddie walks in that direction, and Buck follows his gaze. His eyes land on the calendar, and he stills.
“And I saw this on the calendar.” He flicks it twice. “Kind of hard to miss it.”

Summary
Buck looks up from his desk, a polite, friendly smile already professionally-plastered on his face, and there he is — unmistakably, undeniably: Texas. Texas, who is apparently Christopher’s dad.
Or, Buck is a teacher. Naturally, his favorite student's dad is also the hot guy he matched with on Grindr. Perfect.

Summary
“I need you to drive me to the dentist.”
“Okay, yeah,” Buck agrees. “Put it in the calendar.”
“No,” Eddie says, clearing his throat. He sucks in a breath through his nose and lets it out through his mouth. “I need you to drive me, and I need you to stay, or I will climb out the restroom window.”
Or, Eddie is scared of the dentist. That's one secret. The other is in his sock drawer.

Summary
“What’s– what’s wrong with Eddie?” Buck all but collapses next to Eddie, voice panicked. Blinking down at the floor, Eddie can see Buck’s hands hover in front of him, like he’s scared to touch him.
“I— I don’t know,” Chim stutters, misery plain in his voice. “I think I broke him.”
“What did you say to him?”
“I, uh— may have told him you were grievously injured. But I was just—“
“You what?”
“Listen, it was a tense situation–”
“Jesus, just– go,” Buck says. Pleads, almost. “Go, I’ve– I’ve got this. Please.”
Or: Eddie and Buck stop speaking entirely. Chim intervenes.
