Summary
This story is based on the 2003 BBC production of "Pollyanna". I loved this production with Amanda Burton as Aunt Polly and Aden Gillett as Dr Chilton. Dr Chilton and Aunt Polly are my favourite couple and there are hardly any stories about them so I thought I would write one! The dialogue I’ve included is the same as the movie, but I have added in bits that I imagined were the continuation of some of the scenes, and some extra scenes, stuff the characters may have been thinking etc. As with any lovely film or TV production, with wonderful actors and stories and all of that, one always wishes it was longer! So hence why I’ve written this.
I’m constantly refining this story and hopefully making it better and more detailed - I’m currently about halfway through and I try and work on it most days. At the moment I’m going through just making sure I have all the timelines and dialogue accurate as well as editing my final chapters to make sure everything is as realistic to the characters as possible. I don't intend for it to be a great work of literary genius, it is just a sweet, romantic set of scenes and I hope you like it!

Summary
This is my non-depressing version of this story by Eleanor H. Porter. I never liked the original (unnecessary deaths and strange love triangles) and I pretend it doesn’t exist! I'm still working on this, re-writing bits here and there etc so it’s a mess at the moment so please forgive that - I’m working on it!
I also changed the setting to follow on from my previous story, based on the BBC version, which sets the story in England. Nothing belongs to me! I've made changes to dialogue, words etc and made it a happier story than the original, with a bit more focus on Dr Chilton and Aunt Polly and their relationship.
