Summary
Nowadays, in a close to war Great Britain, where most of the involved people shut their eyes close to the upcoming chaos, omegas have never been so undervalued. Of course, many laws protect omegas, but they don't prevent them from being systematically excluded from major decision-making processes regarding the course of action to be taken. Harry himself, barely knows about omegas, taking conscience of their existence only through Ron's tellings.
Harry is in love with Ron. He doesn't know when this has started, nor how, but there is one sure thing, never will he confess his feelings to Ron. Why? Because Ron is a young alpha obsessed with the beautiful omega girls who wander in Hogwarts's hallways and Harry is absolutely sure that never Ron will look at him like he looks at those girls.
But when Harry presents as one of the very rare known masculine omegas of the world, he decides to hide his nature, afraid to be set aside, but most of all, afraid that Ron might see him differently and that their friendship breaks.

Dans le contexte actuel de Grande-Bretagne, au bord d'une guerre dont la plupart des concernés refusent de reconnaître l'approche, se mettant des œillères plus opaques les unes que les autres, les omégas n'ont jamais étés aussi sous-valorisés. Bien sûr de nombreuses lois les protègent, mais elles ne les mettent pas vraiment à l'abris de la mise à l'écart sociétale des prises de décisions importantes quant à la direction à suivre. Harry, lui, n'a qu'à peine conscience de l'existence des omégas, ne se rendant compte de leur présence qu'à travers les récits de Ron.
Harry est amoureux de Ron. Il ne sait pas quand cela a commencé, ni comment, mais une chose est sûre, jamais il ne l'avouera à Ron. Pourquoi ? Parce que Ron est un jeune alpha obsédé par les belles omégas qui parcourent les couloirs de Poudlard et Harry est sûr que jamais il ne le regarderait comme il regarde ces filles.
Mais quand Harry se présente en tant que l'un des très rares omégas masculins connus au monde, il décide de dissimuler sa nature, de peur qu'on le mette à l'écart, mais surtout, de peur que Ron ne le voie différemment et que leur amitié se brise.
