Every night Subaru Natsuki suffered from horrible terrors, ones was so horrific he would thrash around the bed in his sleep and cut open his wrists with his finger nails.
Beatrice tried all she could to help him. Healing his wounds and holding his hand, but it wasn't enough, so one night she took drastic measures that lead her to a confrontation with the Witch of Envy, who showed Beatrice the truth of her contractor
When offered a deal by the Witch to go back to where it all began, Beatrice took the opportunity to save her contractor and began life in this world from zero.
