Summary
The entire Weasley family were mourning after Fred died in the Final Battle. George had been inconsolable for weeks, only managing to make an appearance at Fred’s funeral by taking two calming potions and smoking an entire joint by himself behind the Burrow’s garden shed. Charlie had come home from Romania a few months before the Final Battle had broken out...
It wasn’t often that they all sat around and got high, but certain times and events warranted a Weasley Smoke Out. As Harry followed Charlie, who made a b-line straight for the garden shed, he realized that this was one of those moments, and he only wished more Weasleys were here to enjoy it. Especially Fred.
“I’m a horrible influence but you’re of age so I don’t actually give a dragon’s left tit – we’re getting you high as fuck, Harry,” said Charlie.
“Me? I’m not the one who just lost a brother,” Harry said with a bemused look.
“Well, to be frank, you did lose a brother. You lost a lot of people Harry, but we’re not smoking for them, not yet. Right now we’re smoking for you, the person who finally was able to end that complete fucking psycho’s reign of terror over the wizarding world. If anyone deserves a smoke and a drink, it's you mate.”
